Stavolta ci è voluto qualche giorno più del solito per elaborare i ringraziamenti di un festival sempre più unico ed emozionante.
La decima edizione, quella che ti fa capire che l’evento sta assumendo una nuova dimensione, è stata travolgente per tutti noi che ci abbiamo lavorato per mesi e per tutti quelli che hanno avuto la buona idea di fare un salto all’Antares nei cinque giorni di festival.
Un salto di livello dal punto di vista della qualità dei corti in concorso, con una selezione davvero globale e di grande spessore.
Un passo in avanti dal punto di vista della promozione, che è stata costruita e studiata per diffondere le informazioni sull’evento nel modo più capillare possibile, sopperendo in tutte le maniere alla cronica carenza di fondi, quest’anno ancora più drammatica.
Grandi temi affrontati sul palco: avanguardie di ieri e di oggi; crowdfunding; nuove frontiere del cinema italiano; scambi internazionali che hanno legato il nostro festival con altre realtà europee; artisti accorsi da tutto il mondo pur di esserci e di prendere parte al nostro piccolo grande sogno.
Il festival è stata una iniezione di adrenalina dritta nel cuore dall’inizio alla fine. E’ stata davvero dura staccarcene nei giorni seguenti, e per alleviare la nostalgia siamo subito ripartiti per preparare una undicesima edizione che superi ancora una volta le aspettative.
Sarebbero tantissime le persone da ringraziare e mancherebbe lo spazio fisico per farlo singolarmente. In sintesi, ringraziamo i tecnici e i funzionari del Comune di Ceccano che anche in periodo di commissariamento non hanno fatto mancare la loro presenza e il loro supporto, in primis, non ce ne vogliano tutti gli altri, Mauro Scarsella, che avendoci supportato per tutte e 10 le edizioni è veramente uno dei simboli di questo decennale; ringraziamo gli sponsor privati che davvero quest’anno hanno reso possibile la realizzazione dell’evento; ringraziamo tutti i media, radio, tv, giornali, siti web che hanno offerto entusiastica attenzione al festival; ringraziamo tutti i registi e gli autori che hanno preso parte a questa spettacolare edizione; ringraziamo le centinaia di persone che ogni sera hanno sfidato il freddo dell’inverno per venirsi a scaldare insieme a noi in una bella sala piena e carica di emozioni; ringraziamo infine noi, i 50 volontari di IndieGesta che lavorano 11 mesi per rendere tutto questo possibile in una realtà a dir poco difficile come la nostra.
Noi eravamo stanchi, è vero, il giorno dopo il festival, ma le pile sono già cariche di nuovo a tutta per regalarvi nuove emozioni.
This time it took a few days longer than usual to eaborate our gratitude for a festival always more unique and exciting.
The tenth edition, the one that makes you realize that this event is taking on a new dimension, has been overwhelming for all of us who have been working for months and for all those who have had the good idea to come around at the Antares in these five days of festival.
A jump in level in terms of quality of the short films in competition, with a great and global selection.
A step forward in terms of the promotion, which was built and designed to spread informations about the event as widely as possible, compensating in every way to the chronic shortage of funds, this year even more dramatic.
Major topics on the stage: the avant-garde of the past and present; crowdfunding; new frontiers of Italian cinema; international trade that have linked our festival with other European realities; artists who came from all over the world just to be there and take part in our life-long dream.
The festival was an injection of adrenaline straight into the heart from the beginning to the end. It was really tough to detach in the following days, and to relieve the nostalgia we’ve immediately restarded to set up an eleventh edition that exceeds expectations once again.
There would be too many people to thank and so would lack the physical space to do it individually. In summary, we thank the technicians and officers of the municipality of Ceccano that even in the period of receivership did not miss to be there and to give us their support; in the first place, Mauro Scarsella, who supporting us for all 10 editions is really one of the symbols of this decade; thanks to private sponsors which this year have made possible the realization of the event for real; thanks to all the media, radio, TV, newspapers, websites that offered enthusiastic attention to the festival; thanks to all the directors and authors who have taken part in this spectacular edition; thanks to the hundreds of people who every evening braved the cold of winter to come and warm up with us in a beautiful room full of emotions; finally we thanks the 50 volunteers who worked in IndieGesta for 11 months to make this possible in a situation nothing short of difficult as ours.
We were tired, it’s true, the day after the festival, but the batteries are already charged again to give you new emotions.
