Finalmente ci siamo. Oggi inizia il Dieciminuti Film Festival e, per la sua 11° edizione vi offriamo ben 11 motivi per seguirlo e per amarlo:

1) Il DFF è un festival internazionale. Per questa edizione ha ricevuto più di 2000 corti da ben 103 nazioni, questo significa che, nel tempo, è divenuto un punto di riferimento importante per il cinema brave a livello mondiale.

2) Il motto di questa edizione del DFF è “cinefili seriali”. ll nostro amore per il cinema lo esprimiamo anche attraverso il tema delle foto, degli spot e della locandina scelta; un continuo richiamo a film e serie di successo, sequenze indimenticabili impresse nella nostra memoria e in quella del grande pubblico.

3) Il DFF offre ben 4 sezioni di cortometraggi in concorso: Ufficiale, Extralarge, Animazione e l’ormai immancabile Visti da vicino

4) Il DFF sa intercettare le nuove tendenze. Non poteva rimanere certo indifferente al fenomeno delle Web Series e proprio ad esse sarà dedicata la sezione Esplorazioni di questa edizione.

5) Il DFF è anche formazione. Quest’anno sono stati inseriti nel programma due fantastici workshop con due maestri del settore; Scrivere un corto con Belèn Sanchez Arèvalo e Il suono del cinema con Matteo Pagliarosi.

6) Il Dff è Dieciminuti Academy. Ogni anno vengono attivati corsi di fotografia e di cinema per valorizzare i giovani talenti della provincia. Da questi corsi nascono la PhotoWeek (settimana della fotografia in cui vengono esposti gli scatti degli allievi) e la realizzazione di cortometraggi che saranno proiettati in sala.

7) La giuria del Dff è sempre di ottima qualità e quest’anno sarà presieduta dal critico cinematografico Steve Della Casa.

8) Il Dff omaggia le grandi personalità della cinematografia italiana e internazionale. In questa edizione ricorderemo il cineasta russo Andrej Tarkovskij a trent’anni dalla sua scomparsa e faremo conoscere a tutti uno degli ultimi pionieri dell’animazione, Simone Massi, che per le sue opere si serve ancora e solo di matite, gessetti, carboncini,pastelli, grafite e china.

9) Il Dff ha ospiti d’eccezione e nomi celebri. Nei corti ricevuti spiccano, a vario titolo, nomi noti al pubblico: Alex Gadea: il “Tristan Castro” de Il Segreto celebre soap opera in onda su canale 5, Cécile Bois, celebre per la serie Candice Renoir, Shelby Young (al cinema The Social Network di David Fincher e in tv American Horror Story e Ghost Wisperer),Reid Ewing della serie Modern Family, David Ury (Breaking Bad, Grimm, The Mentalist, Heroes, Lie to Me), e Tahmus Rounds (The Bridge, True Blood, CSI-Miami, Cold Case, Criminal Minds), Allie Grant (Suburgatory, Grey’s Anatomy), Miles Heizer (Parenthood, E.R. Medici in prima linea) e Karen Strassman, negli USA famosissima doppiatrice, Camilla Filippi, nota sul grande schermo per pellicole come La Meglio Gioventù e Viva l’Italia, in tv nell’ultima stagione di Tutto può succedere.  Per quanto riguarda invece gli ospiti, avremo con noi i produttori dell’ormai nota serie web Il Camerlengo: Marco Castaldi, Primo Reggiani e Nicolas Vaporidis .

10) Il Dff è coinvolgimento. Quest’anno abbiamo deciso di coinvolgere il nostro pubblico nella realizzazione di un breve video contenente una citazione cinematografica. I migliori video saranno proiettati in sala e il pubblico presente sceglierà un vincitore che riceverà come premio 10 ingressi al cinema.

11) Il Dff è social. Collegandovi sui principali social network (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) potete essere sempre aggiornati e seguirlo “quasi live”.

La cosa migliore è comunque venire al Cinema Teatro Antares dal 26 al 30 gennaio, dalle ore 21.00 e godervi lo spettacolo!

DFF11. 11 REASONS TO LOVE IT

Here we are at last. The Dieciminuti Film Festival begins today and, this being its 11° edition, we’re giving you 11 reasons to follow and love it:

1) The DFF is an international festival. More than 2000 shorts from 103 countries, numbers that testifies its role as a key event in the promotion of cinematography for short movies in the world.

2) The motto of this edition is “serial cinephiles”. Our love for cinema is also expressed through photos, advertisement and the poster: all containing references to unforgettable movies and TV series.

3) The DFF has 4 different sections for short movies: Official, Extralarge, Animation and the ever-present Visti da vicino.

4) The DFF doesn’t ignore new trends. The whole Explorations section will be dedicated to Web Series.

5) The DFF is training. Two workshops are in the schedule: Writing a short movie with Belèn Sanchez Arèvalo and Sound of cinema with Matteo Pagliarosi.

6) The DFF is Dieciminuti Academy. Every year, to promote young talents in the region, we hold photography and cinematography classes. The pupils then get the chance to showcase their work during the PhotoWeek and the projection of their short movies during the DFF.

7) The jury is always top notch and this year will be led by, Steve Della Casa, one of the most important film critics in Italy.

8) The DFF pays homage to the major figures of italian and international cinematography. During this edition we’ll have a tribute to Andrej Tarkovskij, passed away 30 years ago, and also to stop-motion animation thanks to the work of Simone Massi, one of the last to still use pencils, china and chalks for his art.

Medici in prima linea), Karen Strassman, an American voice actor and Camilla Filippi,  actress in La Meglio Gioventù e Viva l’Italia, and now in the last season of Tutto può succedere. For the guests, we’re having the producers of the web series Il Camerlengo: Marco Castaldi, Primo Reggiani e Nicolas Vaporidis .

10) The DFF is participation. We decided to let our audience participates with their own short videos containing a film or tv series quote. The best ones will be projected during the festival and the the audience will choose the winner that will win 10 free tickets for the cinema.

11) The DFF is social. We’re on all the main social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) so you can always be connected and updated.
