Di rilievo oltre al già citato fattore numerico (2027 cortometraggi provenienti da 103 nazioni) c’è l’altissima qualità degli ospiti che avremo modo di accogliere al Cinema Antares; a partire dal presidente di giuria Steve Della Casa, già direttore di importanti Festival in giro per l’Italia, da Roma a Torino, nonché conduttore del programma “Hollywood Party” su Radio Tre.

Tra i corti in gara, Sezione Ufficiale, possiamo annoverare Inquilinos diretto da Jaume Balaguerò, illustre regista di film cult del genere horror come Rec (1,2 e 4) e Bed Time.

Ma dal mondo delle serie tv arrivano tantissime altre chicche che arricchiscono il cast dei corti delle due sezioni internazionali,  la Selezione Ufficiale e la Sezione Extralarge: in Valentina il protagonista insieme a Mariam Hernandez, vecchia conoscenza del festival, è l’attore Alex Gadea: il “Tristan Castro” de Il Segreto celebre soap opera in onda su canale 5; nel francese Impact la protagonista è Cécile Bois, celebre per la serie Candice Renoir; cast fatto di piccole stelle nascenti nell’americano Augustine, dove i protagonisti sono Shelby Young (al cinema The Social Network di David Fincher e in tv American Horror Story e Ghost Wisperer), Reid Ewing della serie Modern Family, David Ury (Breaking Bad, Grimm, The Mentalist, Heroes, Lie to Me), e Tahmus Rounds (The Bridge, True Blood, CSI-Miami, Cold Case, Criminal Minds). Sempre tra gli americani in concorso, in Red Thunder di Alvaro Ron recitano Allie Grant (Suburgatory, Grey’s Anatomy), Miles Heizer (Parenthood, E.R. Medici in prima linea) e Karen Strassman, negli USA famosissima doppiatrice di serie di animazione e interprete tra le altre di Silicon Valley e Private Practice. Passando agli Extralarge, nell’italiano Doppia Luce recita Camilla Filippi, nota sul grande schermo per pellicole come La Meglio Gioventù e Viva l’Italia e in tv nell’ultima stagione di Tutto può succedere.

Ma non è tutto:  per la webserie “ Il Camerlengo“, ci raggiungerà al Festival  il trio composto da Marco Castaldi, Primo Reggiani e Nicolas Vaporidis in veste di produttore.

The Dieciminuti Film Festival will be held at the Cinema Antares in Ceccano, beginning on Tuesday 26, with great guests from all over the world. First of all, Steve Della Casa, film critic and director of many important festivals in Italy, from Rome to Turin. Moreover, he hosts a radio program called “Hollywood Party” on Radio Tre. Our list of short films is very rich and among them we can boast “Inquilinos”, directed by Jaume Balaguerò. He is an illustrious director of cult horror films, like “Rec” (1,2 and 4) and “Bed Time”. In the Official Selection, there’s Valentina with Alex Gadea, Tristan Castro from El Secreto, a famous spanish soap opera. In the other short films in competition there are some famous characters: in Impact,  Cécile Bois, from tv series Candice Renoir; in the american Augustine: Shelby Young (The Social Network by David Fincher and tv series American Horror Story e Ghost Wisperer), Reid Ewing (Modern Family), David Ury (Breaking Bad, Grimm, The Mentalist, Heroes, Lie to Me), and Tahmus Rounds (The Bridge, True Blood, CSI-Miami, Cold Case, Criminal Minds).
