Le web series, o serie web, sono degli episodi di fiction appositamente realizzati per il web e, in questi ultimi anni, stanno conquistando degli spazi sempre più importanti tanto che sono stati istituiti diversi festival a loro dedicati.

Noi di Indiegesta non siamo rimasti certo immuni a questo fenomeno tanto da cimentarci in prima persona nella realizzazione di una serie tutta nostra, Prometeo, oltre che a dedicare alla web series un’importante spazio all’interno del Dieciminuti Film Festival: quello delle Esplorazioni, retrospettive in cui si da risalto e si approfondiscono interessanti tematiche .

Partiamo proprio con Prometeo che sarà presentato in anteprima al DFF.

Prometeo è la produzione più ambiziosa di Indiegesta e della Dieciminuti Academy; è un’altra intuizione del visionario Presidente Alessandro Ciotoli che ama esplorare più settori e più generi cimentandosi in sfide sempre nuove e stimolanti.

Questa serie vuole essere un omaggio al romantico personaggio di Frankenstein nato dalla fantasia di  Mary Shelley, nato da un sogno, lo stesso sogno che ha mosso Alessandro nel concepire questa serie.  Al contempo vuole rendere omaggio anche all’avvincente genere cinematografico noir con una serrata caccia al serial killer.

Prometeo verrà proiettato nella serata del 27 gennaio.

 

EUSEBIO – la webnovela fa parte delle web series Made in Ciociaria, la regia è di Mauro Vottari e Samuele Rossi.

La vicenda è ambientata a Boda, città argentina di fantasia, rinomata per l’agricoltura, le vacche e i grandi spazi aperti. Dopo molti anni tornerà a Boda Carlos De La Fuente che, divenuto nel frattempo ricco, decide di riconquistare il cuore della bella del paese Miranda Commando.

Ce la farà a portarla tra le sue braccia? Per saperlo non ci resta che assistere alla proiezione che ci sarà il 26 gennaio. Saranno inoltre presenti anche i registi e il cast.

 

10 Regole per far impazzire un grafico, anche questa serie verrà proiettata il 26 gennaio e sarà presente anche il regista Fabio Rocci.

Chiunque lavori nel mondo della creatività avrà avuto a che fare con clienti che commissionano lavori improbabili e di dubbio gusto, clienti che ti chiedono sempre l’ultima modifica quando il lavoro approvato è già in stampa e che credono di conoscere meglio di voi la strategia di comunicazione più efficace. Una divertente serie tra grafico e cliente.

The amazing life of Bob Mosquito, presentata al Roma Web Fest 2015, avremo il piacere di proiettarla sullo schermo dell’Antares il 28 gennaio alla presenza del regista  Amedeo Nicodemo.

Bob Mosquito è una zanzara piccola e indifesa che assiste alla morte del padre per mano di un cane e di un essere umano ma, grazie all’aiuto del maestro Bruce Zee, cercherà di dar vita, tra mille difficoltà,  alla profezia della zanzara vendicatrice.

 

Il 29 gennaio sarà invece la volta di Klondike, vincitrice dell’ultima edizione del Roma Web Fest, creata da LaBuoncostume, un gruppo di quattro autori e attori (Carlo Bassetti, Simone Laudiero, Fabrizio Luisi, Pier Mauro Tamburini) scrittori di serie web di successo tra cui Il Candidato e Camera Café.

La serie prende il nome dalla mitica terra in cui Zio Paperone trovò l’oro, in questa Klondike invece si incrociano le storie di creativi sempre in lotta tra progetti da presentare in tempi ridottissimi e budget risicati, tra eterne promesse di non lavorare più gratis e la fantomatica “visibilità”in nome della quale lavorano tanti giovani del settore.

Così Klondike, solidale con i suoi protagonisti può definirsi  «una serie a progetto, una serie a portfolio, una serie di sfighe».

Uno degli autori, Simone Laudiero, sarà nostro ospite la sera della proiezione.

 

A chiudere la sezione delle Esplorazioni, il 30 gennaio, sarà Il Camerlengo, web series prodotta dalla Goofie, piattaforma web creata da Nicolas Vaporidis, Primo Reggiani e Matteo Branciamore, giovani attori di film e fiction di successo.

Il Camerlengo, del regista Marco Castaldi, affronta in modo ironico e dissacrante il tema del Giubileo tra papa boys, guardie svizzere, corrotti e corruttori.

La vicenda ruota intorno al Cardinal Walter che da Milano è stato appena trasferito a Roma, perché nominato nuovo Camerlengo, per organizzare il Giubileo Straordinario “improvvisato” da Papa Francesco, missione tutt’altro che semplice.

Saranno nostri ospiti il regista Marco Castaldi, Nicolas Vaporidis e Primo Reggiani.

 

Cinque serate quindi con serie web, che di sicuro vi conquisteranno, e ospiti d’eccezione.

Dieciminuti Film Festival conquered by Web Series

 

Web series, as the name implies, are a series of scripted videos realized specifically to be shown on the Internet. In the last few years they have grown at such an incredible rate that we are seeing more and more space and festivals dedicated to them.

 

Our association too has fallen victim to this phenomenon, so much that we tried our hand at it and created our own series, Prometeo, and also decided to dedicate this year’s Explorations to the world of Web series.

 

Let’s start with Prometeo which will have its première at the the Festival.

 

Prometeo is, to this day, the most ambitious project of Indiegesta and its Dieciminuti Academy. Born from an idea of our President Alessandro Ciotoli, it pays homage to Frankenstein, the famous novel by Mary Shelley, and draws fully from noirs and thrillers.

 

It’ll be projected on the 27th of January.

 

 

EUSEBIO – the webnovel, also produced in Ciociaria, is directed by Mauro Vottari e Samuele Rossi.

 

The story takes place in Boda, an imaginary Argentinia town, well known for its agriculture, cows and vast plains. After a long absence,  Boda Carlos De La Fuente, now a rich man, decides to try and seduce the town’s local beauty, Miranda Commando.

 

Will he be successful? If you want to know, come and see for yourself on the 26 of January, together with the directors and the cast.

 

 

10 Regole per far impazzire un grafico (Ten rules to madden a graphic artist), the projection of which will also take place on the 26th of January is directed by Fabio Rocci who will also be present.

 

Anyone working in the world of art making will have to deal with clients with no idea of what good taste is, always asking for the last little change when you’re already in the middle of printing and pretending to know better than you what’s the best way to communicate with people. A funny series on the client-graphic artist relationship.

 

 

The amazing life of Bob Mosquito, already shown at Roma Web Fest 2015, is scheduled for the 28th of January, with the presence of the director Amedeo Nicodemo.

 

Bob Mosquito is a small and helpless mosquito that witnesses the death of his father, killed by a dog and a human. Thanks to the help of the master Bruce Zee it will fight to make the prophecy of the Avenger Mosquito come true.

 

 

Klondike, winner of the last edition of Roma Web Fest, created by La Buoncostume, a collective of four writers and actors (Carlo Bassetti, Simone Laudiero, Fabrizio Luisi, Pier Mauro Tamburini) who also wrote very succesful series like Il Candidato and Camera Cafè.

 

The series’ name has its origins in the mythical land in which Scrooge McDuck found his gold. In this Klondike, instead, we find intersecting stories of artist always struggling between impossible deadlines and non-existant budgets, eternal promises of payments that are yet to be seen and the ethereal “visibility” that often is the only reward for the young artists.

 

Klondike, sympathetic with its characters defines itself as  «a contract work series, a portfolio series, a series of unlucky events».

 

One of the authors, Simone Laudiero, will be our guest on the night of the showing.

 

 

The honor of closing the Explorations section, on the 30th of January, is of Il Camerlengo, a series produced by Goofie, a web platform created by Nicolas Vaporidis, Primo Reggiani and Matteo Branciamore, young and succesful film and fiction actors.

 

Il Camerlengo, directed by Marco Castaldi, deals with the Jubilee with irony, going from papa boys to swiss guards, from corrupted to corruptors.

 

Cardinal Walter has just been moved from Milan to Rome as a result of his newfound role as the Camerlengo, to organize the improvised Jubilee announced by Papa Francesco.

 

We will have the pleasure of having  Marco Castaldi, Nicolas Vaporidis e Primo Reggiani with us.

 

 

Five nights all filled with web series, which, we are sure, will captivate you.
