Per il DFF14 la famiglia IndieGesta si allarga anche con una consistente ‘quota’ di tirocinanti, tre dei quali in arrivo a Ceccano (dal 18 al 24 marzo) anche dall’università di Danzica (Gdansk), in Polonia. L’obiettivo dell’accordo ce lo spiega proprio uno dei tre studenti che saranno ospiti del DFF: “Un festival del cinema come luogo di approccio al lavoro consente agli studenti del corso di cinema e di studi audiovisivi dell’Università di Gdansk di ottenere un’esperienza sul campo unica. Il programma completo offre la possibilità di lavorare non solo nei più grandi festival polacchi (Off Camera a Cracovia, Gdynia Film Festival e All About Freedom Festival a Danzica), ma anche durante altri eventi eccezionali in tutta Europa, in paesi come l’Italia (CiakPolonia, Polish Film Festival, Dieciminuti Film Festival), Norvegia o Islanda. L’obiettivo è quello di aumentare la competenza professionale degli studenti del secondo e del terzo anno degli studi cinematografici e audiovisivi al fine di soddisfare le mutevoli aspettative del mercato del lavoro, dell’economia e della società. Gli stage sono sovvenzionati dal Fondo sociale europeo come parte del programma Conoscenza, istruzione, sviluppo; Asse prioritario Istruzione superiore per l’economia e lo sviluppo”.

For the DFF14 the IndieGesta’s family also grows with three trainees, in Ceccano from 18 to 24 March, from the University of Gdansk, in Poland. The goal of the agreement is explained by one of the three students who will be guests of the DFF: “A Film Festival as a Place of Work” is an internship programme which allows the students of Film and Audio-Visual Studies in University of Gdansk to obtain unique work experience. The programme offers an opportunity to work not only at the biggest Polish festivals (Off Camera in Cracow, Gdynia Film Festival, and All About Freedom Festival in Gdansk), but also during other exceptional events all over Europe, in countries such as Italy (Ciak Polonia, Polish Film Festival, Dieciminuti Film Festival), Norway or Island. The goal is to raise the professional competence of the second- and third-year students of Film and Audio-Visual Studies in order to meet the ever-changing expectations of the job market, the economy and society. The internships are subsidized by the European Social Fund as a part of the ‘Knowledge, Education, Development’ programme; Priority axis 3: ‘Higher Education for the Economy and Development’.
