Si è conclusa appena due giorni fa la dodicesima edizione del Dieciminuti Film Festival, tra musica da film, ospiti provenienti da tutto il Mondo e tanto entusiasmo. In attesa delle considerazioni finali del Presidente Alessandro Ciotoli, che ancora una volta ha reso possibile tutto questo, vi ricordiamo i cortometraggi vincitori per ciascuna categoria:

Miglior Film (Selezione Ufficiale)

Dreams on Sale di Vlad Buzaianu (Romania) – In un mondo in cui le persone possono registrare, comprare e vendere segni, molti iniziano a perdere la capacità di sognare.

Miglior Film (Sezione Extralarge)

Touch di Noel Harris (Canada) – Una madre single, sotto sfratto, riesce a trovare un lavoro notturno, ma dovrà compiere una scelta inaspettata.

Miglior Film (Sezione Animazioni)

Light Sight di Seyed M. Tabatabaei (Iran) – M.E è intrappolato in una stanza. Viene attratto da una luce, ma incontra troppi ostacoli per raggiungerla.

Miglior Attore

Jimmy Shaw per Classmate (Spagna) – Un uomo e una donna si incontrano su un autobus. Lei è sposata e fa l’ingegnere. Lui è un senzatetto.

Miglior Attrice

Anna Shapeleva per Dasha the Fool (Russia) – Dasha è felicemente sposata e vive in un mondo tutto suo, senza accorgersi davvero di cosa le succede intorno.

Miglior Sceneggiatura

Border Pass di Majid Sedaghat Borji (Iran) – Hesam è disperato e sul lastrico. Decide di lasciare la moglie incinta per cercare la fortuna in un altro Paese chiedendo aiuto ad un trafficante di esseri umani.

Miglior Colonna Sonora

STORY OF R32 di Vladimir Vlasenko (Ucraina) – Un vecchio robot solitario tenta di attirare l’attenzione.

Miglior Fotografia

Le Plombier di Xavier Seron e Meryl Fortunat-Rossi (Belgio) – Tom, un comico abituato a doppiare i personaggi dei cartoni animati, viene chiamato per sostituire un suo amico doppiatore in un film porno.

Miglior Montaggio

Ratzinger vuole tornare di Valerio Vestoso (Italia) – Raggiunta una forma smagliante, Joseph Ratzinger intende riproporsi come Papa, affida così al proprio manager il rilancio mediatico che ha sempre sognato.

Per quanto riguarda i Visti da Vicino, cortometraggi di produzione locale, trionfano Don’t Like It di Simone Nestori e _Let di Alessio Marzilli come Miglior Film secondo giuria e pubblico rispettivamente.

We said goodbye to the twelfth edition of the Dieciminuti Film Festival two days ago. Guests from all around the world, live soundtracks and great enthusiasm were the key points of the grand finale. While waiting for Alessandro Ciotoli, IndieGesta’s President, to say a few words to describe this year’s experience, here’s the list of the shorts who won for each category:

Best Film (Official Selection)

Dreams on Sale by Vlad Buzaianu (Romania) – In a world where people are able to record, buy and sell dreams, many are starting to lose the ability of dreaming. Dreams have become a new form of art and a commodity for the rich class.

Best Film (Extralarge)

Touch by Noel Harris (Canada) – When a single mom, facing eviction, is offered a night’s work, she unsuccessfully seeks a babysitter for her two small children. Desperate, she reaches out to the last person she wants to ask for a favour.

Best Film (Animations)

Light Sight by Seyed M. Tabatabaei (Iran) – M.E., the imprisoned character in a room is attracted to a hanging light and tries to catch it. But the room itself becomes an obstacle on his way.

Best Actor

Jimmy Shaw for Classmate (Spain) – A man and a woman meet on a bus. She’s an engineer and she’s married. He’s homeless.

Best Actress

Anna Shapeleva for Dasha the Fool (Russia) – Dasha is happily married and fool enough not to see the ugly truth around her.

Best Screenplay

Border Pass by Majid Sedaghat Borji (Iran) – Hesam is a financially broken young man who leaves his pregnant wife and wants to escape his country with the help of a human trafficker.

Best Soundtrack

STORY OF R32 by Vladimir Vlasenko (Ukraine) – It’s the story about old lonely robot who just tries to attract attention to himself.

Best Photography

Le Plombier by Xavier Seron and Meryl Fortunat-Rossi (Belgium) – Tom, a Flemish comedian used to doing cartoon characters’ voices, replaces offhand a doubler friend. He finds himself in the studio of a pornographic french speaking film.

Best Editing

Ratzinger vuole tornare by Valerio Vestoso (Italy) – Joseph Ratzinger is in his best shape and wants to come back as Pope.

Don’t Like It by Simone Nestori and _Let by Alessio Marzilli won as Best Films in the Visti da Vicino Section. One was mentioned by the Jury, the other has been chosen by the audience.
